Also including a small coloured engraving of the Chêne Chapelle (the chapel oak) in Allouville and a loose photograph of St. Pol de Léon by Morlain. Including sketches of the Abbey of Bec, Falaise, Argentan, Vire, Caen, Bayeux, Mont St. Michel, St. Malo, Dinan and the Chateau de Kérouzéré, among other places and sites; sketches depict street and topographical views, buildings and architectural details, among other subjects. Most sketches with handwritten caption.

Augustus Hare (13 March 1834 – 22 January 1903) was an English writer and painter. He is well-known for his travel books.
