The Spy in the Mirror would do as a translation of the title, and it includes an interview with le Carré conducted by Jörgen Elgström and three short articles on him. Cornwell’s aversion to James Bond is well known, and we note that this volume, with its cover illustration of Sean Connery being dashing in a narrow black tie, was one of very few references to Bond we saw in the house in Tregiffian.
