GASTINEAU (Gary L.)
The Stock Options Manual.

Inscribed by the author to the American investor and author Andrew Rudd (1950-2024) in blue ink to the front free endpaper: ‘To Andrew, This is the first issue. Give it a good home. Gary L. Gastineau’. The recipient, Andrew Rudd, was CEO of Barra, Inc. from 1984 to 1999. Barra was acquired by Morgan Stanley and renamed MSCI Barra.

Gastineau (1940-2022) was one of the ‘fathers’ of exchange-traded funds (ETFs). He was an expert in the field and directed product development of ETFs at the American Stock Exchange and Nuveen Investments. The present book predates the invention of ETFs (in 1990) by several decades and is a compact but detailed overview of stock options for the professional investor.
