A treatise about Our Lady of Guadalupe, a manifestation of the Virgin Mary who first appeared, speaking Nahuatl, before an Indigenous man named Juan Diego at the hill of Tepayac outside Mexico city in 1531.
A truncated edition of only 32pp was printed by Michele Pucinelli in Rome in 1792, with an engraved frontispiece. This was followed by a 60pp edition in 1797 also printed by Pucinelli.
