A nice copy bound for presentation as a Christmas gift, inscribed by the bookbinder George Sutcliffe (1878-1912), ‘With good wishes for the New Year from the binder and George Sutcliffe. December 1934’, in black ink to the front flyleaf, and with a Typed Letter Signed dated ‘December 24th 1912’ from Sutcliffe to a ‘Mr Charles’.

Spine faded with some slight surface wear, small amount of foxing to front endpapers, small oval red morocco book label ‘R.M.’ to front pastedown.
