A single number of the extremely rare (the last appearance in the auction records was a single number in 1984) quarterly extracts of the articles and stories (described in the introductory text to each volume as “literary trifles”) that appeared on the first and second page of the Gazette (hence the title). There were 12 issues in total, the first nine of which have contributions by Kipling, and Richards could only find two complete runs of the first nine volumes. Volume VI has five stories by Kipling.
In excellent, unrestored condition with modest rust-stains from the staples and very minor soiling to the wrappers, with the contemporary ownership inscription of one E.A. Smith on the wrapper.
