An early edition of Villette, Charlotte Brontë’s third and last novel to be published in her lifetime, originally published in an edition of three-volumes in 1853.
A very good copy, covers with some wear and rubbing, later ownership stamp and inscription of ‘Arthur Faber’ to front pastedown, some foxing to fore edges and endpapers.
